codelet execution on remote host

Dear all,
as I understand from the source codelets, do run in the environment of the resource service.
Is it possible to have a second (a third) resource service defined on different hosts, and have them execute custom codelets, e.g. hostA running codelts a,b,c hostB running codelets d,e,f,g.

maybe what you are wanting to do would be better achieved by deploying web services on remote hosts, rather than codelets
