Beginner's problem
Hi,
I have some (probably stupid) problem - I am not able to find out why my YAWL doesn’t work as I expect:
1. I have downloaded “YAWL4Enterprise-2.0.1”
2. Installation is OK, everything looks OK
3. I have imported ORG data from “orderfulfillment.ybkp” – everything looks good, new users, roles, etc. are added
4. I have loaded specification “orderfulfillment.yawl”
5. I have lunched case “orderfulfillment”, it appears in “Running Cases”
Now I am trying step by step to login as ALL users and I suppose I will see some activity in Work Queues or in Team Queues section. The problem is I see no work item in any user. The same problem is when I am trying to build my own simple specification :-(
So what is wrong?
Thank you in advance for any advice.
Vlastimil
Hi there,
I seem to have similar issues with Vlastimil. In general, it seems that I have a slightly different interface for the YAWL control center than the one in the tutorial video. For instance, in the “YAWL4Enterprise-2.0.1” I have downloaded, there is "Admin Queues" while in the tutorial video there is "Work Queues", plus the number of tabs is also different, (the "Admin Queue" has only "unoffered" and"Worklisted" two tabs, while "Work Queues" has four tabs).
Any clarification is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Each logon gets the level of access appropriate to that logon. From your description, you have logged on as ‘admin’ and so will only see the admin queues (the ‘admin’ user is a special user that doesn’t get individual workqueues). To see the queues as per the videos, you need to log on as a user (other than ‘admin’) - basic users see their queues (only), users with admin access see their queues and the admin queues too. Please see the YAWL User Manual for more details.

Try logging in as 'admin' and look in the Admin Queues - Worklisted queue: do any workitems appear? Select one and note who it is assigned to, and whether it is offered, allocated or started. If you then log out and log in as that user, the workitem should appear in the user's appropriate Work Queue.
